Major: Philosophy (Law & Society) | Minor: Civic & Community Engagement
Nina is a fourth-year transfer student at UCI. At her community college, she fell in love with debate in a class she took. A professor there inspired her to pursue debate and change her major from communications to Philosophy so that she could transfer to UCI. At UCI, she has found a fulfilling work-life balance and was able to join the ethics bowl team. This is her passion project at UCI, and she is looking forward to helping advance the team to national rankings and defining a structure and framework for the club to live on beyond her time at UCI. She is also involved with other clubs on campus, including the Pre-Law Society, where she is an intern to the Chief of Operations. Nina is also preparing to take the LSAT and apply to law schools next year.
